ChatHub: what you get, what it costs, what it caps.

ChatHub is a side-by-side multi-model comparator. It publishes harder usage numbers than most tools in this category, and its own documentation is roughly ten months out of date. Both matter before you pay.

Plans and prices

What ChatHub costs.

Checked against official sources on 2026-09-13. Where the vendor does not publish a figure, this table says so rather than filling the gap.

PlanPriceNotes
FreeNot publishedA free tier exists — the homepage and docs both reference one — but ChatHub publishes no numbers for it anywhere.
Pro$14.99/mo billed annuallyStruck-through list price $19/mo. The total annual charge is not shown before checkout.
Unlimited$24.99/mo billed annuallyStruck-through list price $39/mo. Same missing annual total.
LifetimeDiscontinuedDocs now state the extension is free to use and no licence key is needed.

Model access

Which models you actually get.

GPT-6 Astra, GPT-5.6 Sol, GPT-5.5 Thinking, Claude Opus 5, Claude Sonnet 5, Claude Fable 5, Claude Haiku 4.5, Gemini 3.1 Pro, Gemini 2.5 Pro, Grok 4.6, DeepSeek-V4 Pro, Kimi K3, GLM-5.3, Qwen3.8 Max, Mistral Large 3, Perplexity Sonar, Command A, Amazon Nova.

Both paid tiers get the same catalogue — they differ by quota, not by model. No API key required. ChatHub also supports bringing your own key through Custom Chatbots (any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, plus OpenRouter, Ollama, Together.ai). Watch the version skew: the live model page lists the GPT-6 and Claude 5 generation, while the pricing page still advertises “GPT-5, Gemini 3, Claude 4.5” and the docs site still names GPT-4o and Claude 3 Haiku. The docs changelog stopped on 18 November 2025.

Limits

What stops you.

ProUnlimited
Basic model queries10,000 / monthUnlimited
Advanced model queries1,500 / monthUnlimited
Image and video credits3,000 / month10,000 / month
Document uploads300 / monthUnlimited
Simultaneous chatbotsUp to 6Up to 6

Document upload is web-app only — it does not work in the browser extension. Accepted formats are PDF, DOC, TXT “and more”. ChatHub's own explanation for the advanced-query cap: advanced models “come with higher inference costs, so we have set up specific monthly usage limits for them.”

Fit

Who should buy it, and who should not.

Worth it if

  • You send one prompt to several models and compare answers — this is the product's actual centre of gravity, up to six panes at once.
  • You want published caps you can check against your own usage rather than a vague “fair use” promise.
  • Training on your data is a dealbreaker. ChatHub states plainly: “we do not use any user chat data for AI model training purposes.” Uploaded PDFs are deleted after 24 hours.

Look elsewhere if

  • You need to produce finished documents. There is no document, presentation or spreadsheet builder.
  • You work in a team. There is no team plan, no seats, no admin console.
  • You need OCR on scanned PDFs — never mentioned in ChatHub's documentation.
  • You want to know what you are buying before you buy it. The free tier is undocumented and the annual total is not shown.

Open questions

What ChatHub does not publish.

Every comparison has gaps. Listing them is more useful than guessing, and these are the things worth checking yourself during a trial.

  • Free tier limits of any kind — query count, model access, pane count.
  • What 3,000 image credits actually buys. No per-generation credit cost is published.
  • Maximum file size, page count, or files per chat.
  • Context window per model, and whether ChatHub truncates below the provider's native window.
  • Export formats for conversations. Only “share” is documented.
  • Whether the “history stored locally” claim survives cross-device sync on the mobile and desktop apps.

Platform and data

Where it runs and what happens to your content.

Platform

Web app, Chrome extension, Windows and macOS desktop, iOS and Android. The Chrome listing shows 200,000 users, version 4.2.2, last updated 18 August 2026, published by Jike HK Limited. The homepage claims over 300,000 active users across all platforms.

Privacy and data handling

The strongest privacy posture of the browser tools here. Chat history is stored locally in the browser; uploaded documents are deleted automatically 24 hours after upload; and there is a flat statement that user chat data is not used for model training. No enterprise controls, DPA, or SSO are documented.

FAQ

ChatHub questions.

How much does ChatHub cost?

Pro is $14.99 per month billed annually and Unlimited is $24.99 per month billed annually, against struck-through list prices of $19 and $39. Neither page shows the total annual charge before checkout. Verified on the official pricing page on 13 September 2026.

Does ChatHub have a free tier?

Yes, but ChatHub does not publish what it includes. The pricing page shows no free plan at all; the homepage and documentation both refer to one without giving numbers. Any specific free-tier figure you find elsewhere is third-party guesswork.

How many models can ChatHub run side by side?

Up to six simultaneously, on both paid tiers. This is confirmed in ChatHub's own documentation and is the feature the product is built around.

Does ChatHub train on your conversations?

No. ChatHub's privacy policy states that user chat data is not used for AI model training, that chat history is saved locally in your browser, and that uploaded PDFs are deleted 24 hours after upload.

Is ChatHub suitable for teams?

No. There is no team plan, no seat management and no admin console on the pricing page, and no enterprise controls appear in the privacy policy.
